The Show saddle is a type of English saddle designed for use in shows, which involve flatwork and riding over smaller jumps.  

Show saddles are designed to show off the horse for the benefit of the Judge and they are specifically not designed for long hours in the saddle. They have a straighter cut to show off the horse’s conformation and, in particular, the horse’s shoulder.  

The seat offers minimal support for the rider, with a flat seat and no knee or thigh rolls.
